Cowboy, Take Me Away!!!

Okay why is it that since I have two sick kids at home today (thank goodness the one who goes to school for 7 hours isn't one of them) that all I want to do is run away and hide. I am so tired...The last four nights Madelyn has been up in the night due to asthma/allergy related issues. This is not my area of expertise but what do you do when your husband has to get up at 4:45 and go to a 12 1/2 hour shift with an hour commute each way...? The asthma duty falls on me. Yay! Yesterday I thought I had seen the end of it when she-warning graphic content ahead-coughed up a bunch of phlegm (and maybe a little dinner too) and started to regain some coloring in her face...She actually slept pretty well too which rocked until I figured out that Bronson must have caught something. He slept in my bed (again) last night until I heard some gagging noises from him about 45 minutes before I am supposed to get up and start my day. So I kicked him out to sleep on the floor. He didn't barf until after Kaitlyn had gotten on the bus, but he did barf and not in the designated bucket sitting right next to him...yeah, nice. Then Madelyn woke up with more coughing and some more phlegm...Please don't throw up today. I can't do it. In case you didn't know, regurgitated and projectile fluids and foods are the one thing I can.not.take. as a mom. The rest of the crap that comes with this job title I deal with (begrudgingly). But not barf. So here I sit posting away instead of cuddling or pampering or even calling the Dr. for my two sick kids...AND THIS YEAR'S MOTHER-OF-THE-YEAR AWARD UNANIMOUSLY GOES TO MONICA HATCH!!!!
