Maybe I Will...Maybe I Won't

I am thinking about starting a new blog with pics of quilting projects I am working on...The quilting guild I am in has a thing going on right now that for every unfinished project you get done between now and January you will get a prize for finishing it and you will have the chance to win something bigger. I don't know what, but I always like to win stuff. The projects have to be over a year old...like not something I just started last week and put down for a day...We are talking UNFINISHED stuff. (I have not really done any quilting in the last year b/c we moved into this house which needed some work and I have been exploring new kinds of projects. Fun too!) You can only do one at a time and you have to declare it to someone first and then when you are finished you let her know and tell her what your next one will be. I emailed the lady in charge of keeping track of it all the other day when I finished my first project and she said I was the first one to report anything finished. Two things went through my mind...1) It has been going on for about two months, I can't believe I am the first one to finish something...and 2) MOTIVATION...I love being first. The really cool thing was that the next project I had told her I was doing was EASY. I am so smart. I can get that one done before the end of this month and have another one going...Hopefully I will have the most finished projects at the end of the year and I will win the big prize.
Then hopefully I will keep going with making new things and have a place to post them and share them with others.
